Gold price sees slight increase

KATHMANDU, Dec 5: The price of gold has risen slightly on the first day of the week in Nepali market. The price increased by Rs 700 per tola to Rs 92,000 on Sunday. The yellow metal was traded at Rs 91,300 per tola in the domestic market on Friday.

KATHMANDU, Dec 5: The price of gold has risen slightly on the first day of the week in Nepali market. The price increased by Rs 700 per tola to Rs 92,000 on Sunday. The yellow metal was traded at Rs 91,300 per tola in the domestic market on Friday.


According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of standard gold today is Rs 91,500 per tola. It was Rs 90,800 per tola on Friday.

Similarly, the price of silver today has increased by Rs 10 per tola to Rs 1,200, the federation said.


Likewise, gold is being traded at around USD 1,783 per ounce in the international market today.


The federation has been fixing the price of gold and silver in Nepal in line with the transaction price of the international market.
