KATHMANDU, March 14: The domestic gold market witnessed an increase in prices on Thursday, with gold prices rising by Rs 800 per tola.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Associations, the trading price per tola on Thursday has been set at Rs 125,800 per tola.
Gold price reaches all-time high of Rs 156,800 per tola
Maintaining record-high prices for the first three days of the week, gold prices remained stable at Rs 126,000 per tola until Tuesday. However, on Wednesday, there was a slight decrease of Rs 1,000 per tola, bringing the price down to Rs 125,000. The price again rose on the fifth day of the week.
The standard gold rate stands at Rs 125,200 per tola today, compared to Rs 124,400 per tola the previous day.
Similarly, the price of silver has also increased by Rs 50 per tola, with the trading price reaching Rs 1,515 per tola on Thursday.
