KATHMANDU, Aug 9: The price of gold in Nepal has crossed the Rs 300,000 mark, with the precious metal rising by Rs 4,800 per tola on Sunday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold has reached Rs 301,700 per tola in the Nepali market today. The price stood at Rs 296,900 per tola on Friday.

Similarly, the price of silver has also increased. Silver is being traded at Rs 4,645 per tola, up Rs 65 from Rs 4,580 per tola on Friday.
