Last week, the yellow metal was traded at Rs 57,600 per tola and now it has reached Rs. 59,194 per tola today due to frequent price hike during the one week period.

Similarly, price of worked gold is Rs. 58,944 per tola in Nepali market today while it was Rs. 57,350 per tola last week. The price of silver was Rs. 1,035 per tola last week and it was cheaper by Rs. 10 today and traded at Rs. 1,025 per tola today in Nepali market.

Chairman of NEGOSIDA, Tej Ratna Shakya, said price of yellow metal has also increased in Nepal as the price of gold has also increased in international markets due to high demand of gold in international markets and lack of supply of gold as per the demand.
