Gold price exceeds Rs 100,000

KATHMANDU, April 10: The price of gold exceeded Rs 100,000 in the domestic market today.

KATHMANDU, April 10: The price of gold exceeded Rs 100,000 in the domestic market today.



According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold was traded at Rs 100,300 per tola today, following a rise of Rs 800 compared to the previous trading day (Friday).

Likewise, the price of standard gold was fixed at Rs 99,800 per tola today. The price rise for standard gold is also Rs 800 per tola today.


Similarly, the price of silver stood at Rs 1,365 per tola, Rs 10 less than the price of Friday.


The federation is the authorized body for fixing the price of gold and silver in the domestic market being based on their international value.
