KATHMANDU, Nov 29: The price of gold rose further by Rs 1,600 per tola on Wednesday and set a new record. Since Monday, the price of gold has been rising, setting new records.
Fine gold is being traded at Rs 119,300 per tola on Wednesday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations (FENEGOSIDA). Earlier, on Monday the precious yellow metal was traded at 117, 400 per tola and on Tuesday at 117, 700 per tola.

Similarly, standard gold is being traded at Rs 118,750 per tola on Wednesday. It was sold at Rs 117,150 per tola on Tuesday.
According to the FENEGOSIDA, the Nepali market has been affected with the increase in the price in the international market. The price of gold in the international market reached around 2,047 dollars per ounce on Wednesday.
Similarly, the price of silver has reached Rs 1,520 per tola. Compared to the previous day, the price of silver has increased by Rs 20 per tola.
