Gold price decreases by Rs 100 per tola

KATHMANDU, Aug 26: The price of gold has decreased by Rs 100 per tola in the domestic market on Monday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations, the price of gold has been fixed at Rs 152,300 per tola on Monday. On Sunday, gold was traded at Rs 152,400 per tola.

Similarly, the price of silver has decreased by Rs 10 per tola on Monday. Silver is being traded at Rs 1,840 per tola, marking a decrease from Rs 1,850 per tola on Sunday.

Gold is trading at $2,509.49 per ounce on Monday in the international market while Silver is being traded at $29.67 per ounce, down from $29.83 per ounce.
