KATHMANDU, July 9: Gold prices have dropped again, falling by Rs 900 per tola compared to the previous day. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations, the trading price of gold on Tuesday is set at Rs 144,100 per tola. On Monday, the trading price of fine gold was Rs 145,000 per tola, after a decrease of Rs 400 per tola.
The price of standard gold is now Rs 143,400 per tola, down from Rs 144,300 per tola on Monday.
Price of gold increased by Rs 1,900 per tola this week
Silver prices also declined, dropping by Rs 5 to Rs 1,885 per tola on Tuesday. The trading price of silver was Rs 1,890 per tola on Sunday and remained stable on Monday.
In the international market, gold fell from $2,384.48 per ounce on Monday to $2,367.12 per ounce on Tuesday. Silver decreased from $31.07 per ounce on Monday to $30.95 per ounce on Tuesday.
