KATHMANDU, May 18: Fine gold is being traded at Rs 95,800 per tola on Wednesday. The price of spot gold dropped by Rs 900 compared to Tuesday when the precious yellow metal was traded at Rs 96,700 per tola, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ (Fenegosida). 


Based on the publications made available by the association, the price of worked gold today stands at Rs 94,300 per tola. Its price the previous day was set at Rs 96,200 per tola. In the international market, gold is being traded at approximately 1,812 USD per ounce today.

According to Reuters, gold prices on Wednesday steadied near their lowest levels since late January, pressured by a recovering dollar and an aggressive inflation stance from the US Federal Reserve.


Meanwhile, the price of silver dipped by Rs 10 per tola to Rs 1,250 per tola in the domestic market on Wednesday.
