Rajbiraj, July 18: A baby girl died after she was hit by a pickup van at Khojpur-8 of Saptari along the East-West Highway this morning.

Three-year-old daughter of Smat Miya of Pansera VDC-7 died when she was hit by a Tata pickup van (Ba 2 Jha 784) heading towards the east from west.

The girl was walking on the road when she suffered the fatal accident, the District Police Office Saptari said. Police have arrested the driver and impounded the vehicle. RSS
