BHAKTAPUR, Jan 20: Two motorcyclists were killed after their motorcycles were hit by a Nissan van, Ba 2 Kha 9721, near Nepal Army School at Dhudhpati in the district.
The deceased have been identified as Anil Krishna Tamrakar, 44, and Saroj Baniya,40, of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Kalimati.
Shrestha and Baniya, who were rushed to Thimi-based Madhyapur Hospital, breathed their last while undergoing treatment.
Shrestha was riding motorcycle, Ba 14 Pa 9288, while Baniya was riding motorcycle, Ba 43 Pa 4576.
Police said they are investigating the case after taking the driver and the vehicle involved in the incident under control.
