TANAHUN, May 19: The Ghumti-Ranitari road, an alternative route to Damauli-Jamune under the Prithviraj highway will be closed for traffic for the next 16 days. The road will remain closed until June 3 for upgrading of the road.
Mukesh Kumar Yadav, Sub Engineer of the Infrastructure Development Office, told RSS that the road from Ranitari to Harshpur has been closed. The road is being upgraded in Ward No. 3 and 7 of Myagde Rural Municipality and in Ranitari of Byas Municipality-5.
Upgrading and expansion of the road is taking place along the 9.452 km road with 62 percent of the work completed so far, said Sub Engineer Yadav.
