Ghimire re-elected CAB-Nepal chairman

KATHMANDU: Cricket Association of the Blind, Nepal (CAB-Nepal) re-elected Pawan Ghimire as its chairman for yet another term during its third general assembly held in Kathmandu on Tuesday.



 Amrit Baral is the vice-chairman of the 11-member executive committee unanimously elected by the general assembly. Sugam Bhattarai retained his post of general secretary and Rajendra Dhital was re-elected as treasurer while Bimal Paudel was elected as the new secretary. [break]



Bikram Bahadur Rana was the vice-chairman of the previous committee while Upendra Shrestha was the secretary. Shrestha was elected as a member of the new committee along with Ramesh Pokharel, Nirmal Paudel, Samrat Sapkota, Rupa Balal and Lalu Maya Bhujel. CAB-Nepal also celebrated its seventh anniversary on Tuesday felicitating its 16-member Blind World Cup team.
