Get ready for European films

KATHMANDU, March 20: The fourth edition of European Union Film Festival is all set to kick off at QFX Kumari Hall 1 in Kamal Pokhari this weekend.

The festival this year is titled 'Voices of the Youth' and as the title suggests, the festival this year will screen films centering on the theme of youths.


Organized by the Delegation of the European Union to Nepal, the four-day festival will screen a total of 19 award-winning films from 19 different European countries, including Germany, Spain, Slovakia, Hungary, the UK, Austria, Finland, Bulgaria, the Netherlands, Portugal, France, Greece, and Ireland.

Some of the films being screened are 'Love like Poison', 'Easy', 'Northwest', 'Fresh Air', 'On the Sky', 'Bright Vision', 'The Brides', and 'Love Me or Leave Me'.

Four films will be screened every day at 11:30 AM, 1:30 PM, 3:30 PM and 5:30 PM. Only three films will be screened on the last day (March 25) with 'Paddington', which was released in 2014, being the closing film.
