Gang loots money, gold; four injured

MAHENDRANAGAR, Nov 20: Four members of a family sustained injuries when they defended a gang of looters in Daiji-6 in Kanchanpur district on Thursday night.



The gang of around 20 dacoits looted Rs 100,000 and five tolas gold from a local Dipendra Deuba´s house, said Kanchanpur District Police Office.



Dipendra including Bir Bahadur Deuba, Padam Bahadur Deuba, Koilya Devi Deuba sustained head and hand injuries in the incident. They are undergoing treatment in Kohalpur and Mahakali Zonal Hospital.



Three people were injured in another incident in Bhim Dutta Municipality-16 two days ago when a gang of armed looters attacked them.
