What is money? Does your job reflect values in terms of monetary rewards? Are you at peace with your money? Yes, indeed. All these questions matter a lot when it comes to money and life. Needless to say, money alone will not solve most of our problems. In fact, it is not surprising to say that a healthy relationship with money is most often just a by-product of living a happy and a healthy life.
Every fact we learn leads us to the learning of another fact. Similarly, knowledge is continually increasing. Every talent we cultivate brings to the mind the desire to cultivate another talent. To be honest, we are all subject to life, which drives us on to know more, to do more and to be more.
In order to know more, do more and be more we must have more. We must have things to use. Since we learn, we do and we become. All of these are possible by gaining ups and downs experiences in life.
Careful in life
Of course, all human activities are based on the desires as well as choices. Broadly speaking, people are more likely to seek more food, more clothes, better shelters, more money, more knowledge and more pleasures – increasing trends in something more in life. Rather, living with ‘the more you give, the more you receive’ philosophy in life. Quite interestingly, to quote Sholom Aleichem, “Life is a dream for the wise, a game for the fool, a comedy for the rich and a tragedy for the poor.”Against this backdrop, no matter who we are, our life moves on.
We might vigorously maintain that we know money cannot buy happiness. And, the best things in lives are free; honesty requires that we look at deeper. However, our behavior tells a different story. More often, we buy something to make us feel better. A MacBook Air, a Christmas gift, a New Year gift, an ice cream cone, a ticket to the movies so on and so forth. After all, when we think there must be more to life, we buy something with the help of money.
Since I think to write (about money and life), I find both related to each other. On one hand, money plays a significant role when it comes to buying at par. On the other hand, technically, because of money our life’s basic necessities are also fulfilled.
In a nutshell, I would like to say that our life happens to us every day. Most importantly, we can decide what to do with it. Let us we should all decide the masters of our own fates.
