DAMAULI, Jan 12: The Gandaki provincial government has decided to tighten security at the major transits to the province in view of Omicron risks. As its part, the health protection and surveillance center at Aanbukhaireni Rural Municipality in Tanahun district will be equipped with required health equipment and necessary human resources. Similarly, free COVID-19 tests will be ensured and intensified.
Vehicles entering the province will be recorded and obedience to the health protocols monitored, said the surveillance center Chief Agam Prasad Upadhyay. "All people entering the province will be made to follow the health protocols. Suspected people will be under surveillance immediately. Health awareness will be provided."
