POKHARA, May 9: Chief Minister (CM) of Gandaki Province, Prithvi Subba Gurung has resigned from his post.

CM Gurung, who was scheduled to face a no-confidence motion on Monday, tendered his resignation to the Governor of the province, Sita Poudel, on Sunday afternoon.
A no-confidence motion was registered against him on April 26 earlier this year.
