KATHMANDU, Oct 24: Nepali Congress (NC) has decided to appoint the party's youth leader Gagan Thapa as the spokesperson of the party. Thapa's press coordinator Jeevan Bhandari confirmed that President Sher Bahadur Deuba has proposed Thapa for the post of spokesperson.
“The president may officially appoint Thapa as the party's spokesperson tomorrow [Wednesday],” he said. The post of spokesperson is lying vacant for a long time. Prior to the election of Deuba as the party's president, Dilendra Prasad Badu had served as the party's spokesperson.
