JHAPA, Sept 22: The last rites of Sangita Rajbanshi, a Nepali migrant worker who died on September 10 in the Maldives, have been performed today morning at a local crematorium at Mechinagar Municipality-10 in Jhapa.

Rajbanshi, 24, who was unmarried and had gone to the Maldives around one and a half years ago to work as a domestic helper, reportedly committed suicide. Her body was repatriated home on Friday evening. RSS
