BABIYACHAUR, Oct 14: People from Myagdi district who are living and working abroad have collected a fund of five million rupees for the expansion of Internet service to all the settlements in the district.
The money was collected by the Myagdi Overseas Nepalis Association (MONA) International Working Committee to contribute to the Internet Expansion Project started by the Myagdi District Development Committee. The project's estimated cost is Rs 40 million.
MONA treasurer Chakra Thapa said the money was collected from the MONA office-bearers and the people from Myagdi based in different countries. MONA has formed national committees in 22 different countries. RSS
