Fresh earthquake in Darchula

BAITADI, Oct 17: Darchula was struck with a fresh new earthquake at 6:16 am today sending a ripple of panic among the residents.

The earthquake measuring 4 on the Richter scale struck with epicentre located at an area across the border in India which lies 43 km north- west of Darchula headquarters.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Kedar Khanal, of the District Police Office, Darchula said they were yet to receive information on damages caused by the earthquake. RSS
