PATHARI (Morang), July 26: Arrangements have been arranged for providing free foods to the people affected by the recent floods in the district.

A youth club here has rescued some 200 floods-victims of Hasandaha, Amardaha, Suga Bazar and Khadka Tole.

They are getting free meals twice a day from the club since Monday, according to a local journalist Birendra Saha.

The club comprising local social workers Pratap Tamang and Bishal Khadka decided to offer free meals to the aged and children affected by the floods for a week.

In the meantime, the same group distributed foodstuffs, clothes and general medicines to the flood-victims in the district.

The victims have complained that the District Disaster Rescue Committee, Morang has yet to reach to them for help. RSS
