The NEFTA for life time achievement was awarded to veteran cinematographer Shyam Mohan Shrestha and production controller Narayandwaj Pant.[break]
They were felicitated by social worker Anuradha Koirala.
The top winner at the award function however was Chodi Gaye Paap Lagla(CGPL) bagging five awards in five different categories.
Ujwal Ghimire who won the title for the best director for the film was ecstatic and mentioned that he was humbled by the effort and felt more responsible.
The award was judged by a jury consisting of writer Mohan Niraula, cinematographer Narendra Pradhan, journalist Bijayratna Tuladhar and Shantiprya, industrialist Biswesh Shrestha and drama director Prabharkar Dev Sharma.
The event was made memorable by dazzling performances by actresses Karishma Mandhar, Srijana Basnet and actor and director Sobhit Basnet.
