On Monday last week, some BBS third year students vandalized and set the college building on fire demanding that their classes be conducted regularly.
The college, which has remained shut since the incident, had filed a case at District Police Office of Baglung against the four for their involvement in vandalism.
On Wednesday, the college agreed to withdraw the case filed against the four after representatives of student unions promised to allow the resumption of classes.
But, with the college deciding to rusticate the four, student unions have backtracked from their promises. They have demanded a fair probe into the incident. They have also said that the decision to rusticate the four is against the spirit of an earlier understanding.
