Four polling booths in Manang have less than 100 voters

KATHMANDU, Nov 19: Four polling centers in Manang district have less than 100 voters each.


According to the District Election Office, Manang, each of three polling centers in Narpabhumi Rural Municipality and a polling unit in Chame Rural Municipality has a very low number of voters. The polling center set up at the ward office of Chame-5 has 96 voters.

Similarly, the polling center maintained in the ward office in Nargaun of Narpabhumi-1 has 96 voters, Fu Basic School has 78 voters and the ward office in Fugaun of Narpabhumi-5 has 71 voters, the least.


Manang district has 6,779 eligible voters. It contains only one constituency for the election to the House of Representatives whereas there are two constituencies for provincial assembly. In Provincial Assembly 1, there are 2,624 voters while Provincial Assembly 2 has 4,155 voters.
