Four-party meet inconclusive, again

KATHMANDU, Feb 12: A meeting of the major four parties--UCPN (Maoist), Nepali Congress, CPN-UML and Madhesi Morcha--failed to strike a deal on formation of new consensus government on Tuesday, too.



UML leader KP Oli said that the parties discussed all possible alternatives, however, failed to reach to consensus. "We´ll inform the president that we failed to reach consensus," Oli said as leaders prepare to head to president´s office. [break]



The leaders are mulling the UCPN (Maoist) proposal to form a government under sitting chief justice. The opposition parties--NC and UML--have flatly rejected the proposal.
