Four killed in LPG cylinder explosion in Lalitpur

KATHMANDU, Nov 6: Four members of a family were killed when a house at Mangal Bazar of Lalitpur district caught fire on Friday evening. The deceased have been identified as Laxmi Krishna Tamrakar, Anjana Tamrakar, Ranjana Tamrakar and Nirmal Tamrakar.

Similarly, two other persons sustained injuries in the course of dousing the fire, SSP Kiran Bajracharya of Lalitpur Police Office said. Preliminary investigation by police showed that the fire spread from the oil-lamp lit during the Mha Puja rituals, which later triggered a cooking gas explosion.
