11 injured in LPG cylinder explosion at Kathmandu’s Naya Bazar

KATHMANDU, Oct 15: A Liquified  Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinder went off at a house in Naya Bazar, Kathmandu, injuring eleven individuals on Thursday afternoon.

KATHMANDU, Oct 15: A Liquified  Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinder went off at a house in Naya Bazar, Kathmandu, injuring eleven individuals on Thursday afternoon. 


According to spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police Office, Ranipokhari,  SSP, Susil Kumar Yadav, as many as six people have sustained severe injuries.

“Of the 11 injured, three are currently undergoing treatment at Manmohan Memorial Hospital, five others at People’s General Hospital and three others at TU Teaching Hospital,” he added. 


The condition of the injured is reported to be stable for now.
