Four killed in jeep mishap in Baglung

BAGLUNG, July 24: Four people died and seven others sustained injuries in a jeep mishap in Gwalichaur of Baglung district.

BAGLUNG, July 24: Four people died and seven others sustained injuries in a jeep mishap in Gwalichaur of Baglung district.


According to DSP Anil Kumar Khadka, the spokesperson of the District Police Office in Baglung, four people, including driver of the jeep, died on the spot when a jeep, registered with number Dha 1 Ja 184, which was heading to Kharbang from Jaljala, fell down from a cliff at Gwalichaur of Badigad Rural Municipality. However, the deceased are yet to be identified.

According to Khadka, there were 11 people on the jeep. The preliminary investigation of the police has showed that the jeep veered off from a turning as the road was muddy and slippery because of rain.


According to police, all the injured people are referred to various hospitals after providing first-aid in local hospital.
