The deceased are Arjun Neupane of Rupsingdanda of Syangja district and Bijay Bhandari of Dudhraksha-9 of Rupandehi district.[break]
The accident took place when their motorbike (Lu. 15. Pa. 915) heading to west from east collided with a pick up van (Na. 2 Cha. 6835) coming from the opposite direction, said Area Police Office Kawasoti.
Neupane died on the spot and Bhandari died while undergoing treatment at Alive-Trauma Hospital in Bharatpur, Chitawan, police said. Police have impounded the van and arrested its driver.
Likewise, a man died after he fell from a moving bus at Bhimat VDC-2 near Chitikhola on Friday morning.
Bishnu Rana, 22, of Gajarkot VDC-9 died after he fell from the door of the bus (Dha.1 Kha. 220) heading to Bhimad from Sankhar in the district.
He died while undergoing treatment at Gandaki Hospital in Pokhara. The bus and driver have been taken under control by police.
Meanwhile, one person died after he fell from a moving bus at Khalanga in Salyan district this morning. The bus (Na.3kha 1411) was heading to Nepalgunj from Salyan.
The deceased is Lokendra Hamal, 42, of Khalanga-9, Bayaldanda.
