Four killed in bus accident in Sarlahi

KATHMANDU, March 27: Four people were killed in a bus accident in Sarlahi district on Sunday morning while more than 20 passengers were injured in the accident.

According to police, four people were killed when a passenger bus overturned at Phuljor under the East-West Highway section. Chief of Sarlahi District Police Office, SP Krishna Prasai said that the identities of the four people who lost their lives in the accident have not been ascertained yet.

The accident took place when a passenger bus (Na 4 Kha 8555) enroute to Janakpur from Birgunj fell off the bridge at 11:30AM. The injured are being treated at a local hospital in Sarlahi.
