Three people including nine-year-old Alina Pahare died in flood in Ghopsikhola caused by burst of artificial lake formed by landside.
An unidentified dead body has been found on the banks of Myagdi stream in Devisthan VDC. Police suspect the body was swept away by landside.
In another incident, five people including three of a same family went missing as landside buried a shed in Mudi-5, Nerwang.
Those missing are Kalo Gharti, 70, and Jeet Bahadur Gharti, 47, of Mudi-1, Bhim Bahadur Gharti,52, of Mudi-3,Daldevi Pun, 49, and Kish Lal Pun, 70, of Mudi-2 and Dhandevi Pun,73.
Locals said that scores of shepherds and 50 cattle heads were also feared buried in landslide in Garkhoriya of Mudi VDC, according to Khabin Gharti, President of the Jana Yuba Club in Mudi.
