Four held on murder charge

RATNANAGAR, July 20: A man was killed at Padampur of Kalika municipality in eastern Chitwan with the use of sharp-edged weapon. 

According to Chitwan Police SP Deepak Thapa, Bhuminanda Dulal, 50, of Kalika municipality-2, Padampur was murdered on Wednesday. 

According to the preliminary investigation of the event, his daughters Anjana Dulal, Belkumari Dulal, Apsara Dulal and son-in-law Tek Bahadur Budha were found involved in the killing, SP Thapa shared. 

Dulal was killed with the use of sharp-edged weapon at his house. Police said that the weapon was used on his head and different body parts. 

Though the incident took place in the afternoon, police came to know about the fatal case only at 5.00pm same day. The dead body was found draped with a white cloth. 

The family members have been engaged in quarrel under alcoholic influence in the past as well and the incident might have taken place due to family dispute, said SP Thapa while quoting locals as saying. 

Police said that the dispute seems to be of parental property share. 
The dead body has been kept for post-mortem in Bharatpur Hospital. RSS
