ALGIERS, Aug 6: Four people, including a Chilean national and two civil defence officers, died Tuesday in a plane crash near northern Algeria's coastal city of Jijel, authorities said.
The national civil defence service said in a statement that the plane was a reconnaissance aircraft made by the Czech company Zlin, and had crashed at an airport.

It also declined to name the fourth casualty, but said he was an instructor from the Algerian aviation APTATA.
