KATHMANDU, July 20: Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara has said that it was necessary to formulate laws for the implementation of constitution.
At an interaction organized by National Forum of Parliamentarians on Population and Development here today, Speaker Mahara said that federal parliamentarians have responsibility to prepare many laws for constitution implementation.

He said, "Formulating laws for constitution implementation is the main agenda. Now some laws are being formulated. I hope the government will bring bills as soon as possible."
Saying federal, provincial and local-level elections were held as the first step of constitution implementation, the Speaker mentioned that federal system is being practiced by forming government in all three-level.
He also expressed hope that the discussion held in the interaction would draw a conclusion regarding the role to be played by the parliamentarians in formulating laws and inside the House.
