KATHMANDU, Dec 6: Former Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal and Chinese Vice-Premier Ding Xuexiang held a meeting on Friday at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, China.
During the meeting, former PM Khanal commended China's progress in developmental efforts and its economic aspects during its modernization bid.

Vice-Premier Xuexiang asserted that China was in favor of multi-polarization, just and equitable world order, reiterating China's commitment towards world peace, peaceful co-existence, development and prosperity.
Khanal travelled to Guangzhou in China last Saturday to participate in the 'Understanding China' conference organized by the China Institute for Innovation and Development Strategy, Chinese People's Institute for Foreign Affairs and Guangzhou Provincial government.
CPN (Unified Socialist)’s leader Khanal, in his interview with the CGTN, China's television network, had expressed his views on Nepal-China relations, Belt and Road Initiative and the conference he attended.
According to Unified Socialist's Department of Foreign Affairs Chief Shankar Khatiwada, former PM Khanal will return home on December 7.
