KATHMANDU, May 6: Former Minister Pradip Nepal has passed away.
He died on Tuesday afternoon while undergoing treatment at Norvic Hospital in Thapathali, according to his brother Samir Nepal.
Nepal, a veteran UML leader, had been admitted to the hospital a few days ago. He had long been suffering from Parkinson's disease and was recently diagnosed with pneumonia as well.
As his health deteriorated due to the illness, he had gradually withdrawn from political life.
