KATHMANDU, April 22: Artist Pradip Sigh, who had been suffering from kidney ailment, passed away while undergoing treatment at Kolkata Medical and Research Hospital on Friday evening.
“Pradip had advocated the rights of film fraternity while he was a member of the Nepal Film Artists Association (NFAA).
Pradip had a kidney transplanted last year. His 33-year-long film career reached a point of stagnation following the kidney transplantation,” said Ram Keshar Bogati of NFAA.

His dead body will be brought to Nepal on Monday.
Singh, 58, has acted in the Nepali films including ‘Padmini’, ‘Deuta,’ ‘Rahar’, Mitjyu.
He made his debut with a movie called 25th Basanta that was released in 1984.
Singh also served as a film producer apart from acting.
Singh, who originally hails from Bouddha, is survived by his wife, two daughters and a son.
