KATHMANDU, Nov 23: The US dollar has eached a new record high in Nepal, with today’s selling rate set at Rs 143.48. This surpasses the previous peak of Rs 142.38 recorded last month.
According to today’s forex rates, the euro is being sold at Rs 165.30, while the British pound stands at Rs 187.39. The Australian dollar has a selling rate of Rs 92.38, the Canadian dollar is at Rs 101.82, and the Singapore dollar is at Rs 109.68.
US dollar hits record high in value
The Chinese yuan is being sold at Rs 20.18 today. Meanwhile, the Saudi riyal is priced at Rs 39.26, and the Qatari riyal at Rs 39.36.
Likewise, the Korean won (per 100 units) is traded at Rs 9.59 buying and Rs 9.73 selling. The Swedish kroner is priced at Rs 14.91 buying and Rs 14.98 selling, while the Danish kroner stands at Rs 22.04 buying and Rs 22.13 selling. The Hong Kong dollar is traded at Rs 18.35 buying and Rs 18.43 selling. Among the high-value currencies, the Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs 465.01 and sold at Rs 466.97, while the Bahraini dinar stands at Rs 378.99 buying and Rs 380.58 selling. The Omani riyal is priced at Rs 371.12 for buying and Rs 372.68 for selling.
