Forest Minister Shah returns home

KATHMANDU, Nov 3: Minister for Forests and Environment, Ain Bahadur Shah, has returned home today after participating in the 13th International Conference on Biological Diversity held in Colombia.

KATHMANDU, Nov 3: Minister for Forests and Environment, Ain Bahadur Shah, has returned home today after participating in the 13th International Conference on Biological Diversity held in Colombia. He was welcomed by high officials, including Forest Secretary Dr Deepak Kumar Kharal, in the VIP lounge of Tribhuvan International Airport.


Minister Shah addressed high-level meetings on two topics on October 29 and 30 during the conference held in the city of Cali, Colombia, from October 26 to 31.

He addressed discussions in two sessions on the topics 'Nature and Peace' and 'Biodiversity and Finance,' informing attendees about Nepal's achievements in the field of biodiversity. He traveled to Colombia last Sunday leading the Nepalis delegation to participate in the Ministerial Meeting on Forests and Environment.
