KHOTANG, April 23: CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli said the foreigners have spent a huge amount of money to split Nepal taking advantage of its transition.

Speaking at the inaugural program of the sixth conclave of CPN-UML Khotang District Committee on Thursday, UML Chief Oli said his party will foil any types of attempts to disintegrate Nepal as it has a sizeable presence in the Constituent Assembly.

He blamed that anti-national aliments are playing active roles under foreign investment to disintegrate Nepal.

He went on to say that the anti-elements are conspiring to disintegrate the nation by inciting social conflict on the basis of race, color and identity.

Maximum efforts will be made to forge consensus but if the efforts fail, the new constitution will be promulgated through majoritarian process, said Oli.
He maintained that the new constitution will be promulgated on time, ensuring social justice, peace, democracy, national integrity and prosperity.

Chairman Oli and Vice Chairman Bhim Rawal had reached Khotang to participate in the conclave today by helicopter.
