Foreign Minister Saud requests int’l community to help trace the missing Bipin Joshi in Israel

KATHMANDU, Oct 15: Foreign Minister NP Saud has requested international organizations and diplomatic missions to find out the status of missing Nepali student Bipin Joshi in the ongoing war in Israel. 

Talking to the representatives of international news organizations at his residence in Bhaisepati, Lalitpur on Sunday, Foreign Minister Saud requested the international organizations and diplomatic missions to find out the situation of the missing student Joshi.

Foreign Minister Saud said that according to eyewitnesses, Nepali student Bipin may be in the custody of the Hamas group. 

“It seems that the attackers attacked repeatedly in a short period of time when the Nepali students including Bipin were hiding in the bunker. It seems that they fired shots first and then threw a grenade," Foreign Minister Saud said, "According to the eyewitness student, when two grenades were thrown into the bunker, Bipin threw one grenade out before it could explode.”

"According to eyewitness students, they then kidnapped Bipin along with some students from Thailand," he said. "Since then, his whereabouts are unknown," Foreign Minister Saud said. 

We have requested the Israeli government to find out his status. The Israeli government has also committed to find out about his status," Foreign Minister Saud said. "I would like to request you (international media) to find out his status with international organizations and various diplomatic missions."
