KATHMANDU, Aug 18: Foreign Minister Dr Arju Rana Deuba has left for an official visit to India.

KATHMANDU, Aug 18: Foreign Minister Dr Arju Rana Deuba has left for an official visit to India.


According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister Rana has embarked on a four-day official visit to India at the invitation of her Indian counterpart, Dr S Jaishankar.

During the visit, Minister Rana will hold discussions with her counterpart about the mutual interests between the two countries, strengthening the bilateral relations and promoting cooperation between Nepal and India.


It is expected that the regular high-level visits between the two countries will further strengthen the centuries-old bilateral relations in the multifaceted field.


Foreign Minister Rana is scheduled to return home on August 22.
