Foreign Minister Gyawali leaves for China

Kathmandu, June 30: Minister for Foreign Affairs, Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, left for Dalian city of China this afternoon to attend the 13th World Economic Forum Annual Meeting of the New Champions being held from 1 to 3 July.

Kathmandu, June 30: Minister for Foreign Affairs, Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, left for Dalian city of China this afternoon to attend the 13th World Economic Forum Annual Meeting of the New Champions being held from 1 to 3 July.


This year's Annual Meeting of the New Champions will be held under the theme of 'Leadership 4.0: Succeeding in a New Era of Globalization.'

According to the Foreign Ministry, Minister Gyawali is scheduled to address the Informal Gathering of World Economic Leaders. Finding a New Footing for the Global Economy and also participate in the session on 'Shaping the G20 Agenda for 2020.'


Similarly, he will speak in two separate sessions entitled 'Climate Change: the Next Financial Crisis?' and 'A New Balance of Power' on 2 July.


Moreover, on the margins of the annual meeting, the Minister will also have meetings with political as well as business leaders. He will leave Dalian for Beijing on 3 July. He will hold high-level meetings with Chinese authorities in Beijing.
