KATHMANDU,Jan 12: Force Majure by Eddie Izzard, the most extensive comedy tour, will be brought to Kathmandu for the first time on February 18, 2017. The performance will take place at The British School, Jhamsikhel.
Eddie Izzard is one of the foremost stand-ups of his generation and is often referred to as the lost python. He has won numerous awards including two Emmy’s and regularly performs gigs at Madison Square Garden Arena in New York.
Eddie is also respected as a film, theatre and TV actor. His film works include ‘Valkyire’ alongside Tom Cruise and ‘Oceans Twelve’ and ‘Thirteen’ opposite Brad Pitt and George Clooney. His notable TV dramas are ‘Hannibal’ and ‘Lost Christmas’. His performance in ‘A Day in the Death of Joe Egg’ in London and Broadway won him several awards including a Tony nomination for Best Actor.
