KATHMANDU, July 27: Finance Minister Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat has directed the secretaries of the government to implement the current budget without any delay.
At a program organized by the finance ministry here on Wednesday, Minister Mahat asked the secretaries to place emphasis on budget implementation which has come into effect from mid-July.

He shared, "Bidding processes of the projects having detailed project reports should be forwarded. Contracts of the projects should be signed within November."
He expressed the commitment that the finance ministry would clear all the receipts that are received within a month, within 15 days.
Minister Mahat directed the secretaries not to forward the projects without resource assurance.
