Govt transfer 59 joint secretaries en masse

KATHMANDU, Aug 16: The government has transferred 59 different joint secretaries en masse. The Cabinet meeting held on Thursday has decided to transfer 59 joint secretaries secretaries working in federal ministries and offices and provinces.

KATHMANDU, Aug 16: The government has transferred 59 different joint secretaries en masse. The Cabinet meeting held on Thursday has decided to transfer 59 joint secretaries secretaries working in federal ministries and offices and provinces.


According to the sources, joint Secretaries Madan Dahal, Yamuna Pradhan, Gopikrishna Koirala, and Mahesh Bhattarai have been brought to the Ministry of Finance, while secretaries under Finance Tanka Pandey, Ritesh Shakya, Dundi Niraula, Narayan Sapkota have been transferred elsewhere.

Similarly, Krishna Kumari Shrestha, Suman Dahal, Chandi Ghimire, Yamlal Bhusal have been transferred to the Prime Minister's office, while Arjun Bhandari, Chakra Budha, Kamal Bhattarai have been sent somewhere.


Narayan Bhatt and Nawaraj Dhungana, who are in the posts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, have also been transferred. The Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration sent a list of 63 people. Nevertheless, sources informed Republica that no decision has been taken on all of them.
