Speaking at a press meet in Jhapa on Saturday, FLSC Chairman Paluwang said, “People´s vote is the ultimate power in democracy.” Paluwang said street protests can´t alone guarantee a Limbuwan state. FLSC has been demanding a Limbuwan state comprising of nine districts -- Jhapa, Morang, Sunsari, Ilam, Panchthar, Taplejung, Tehrathum, Dhankuta, and Sankhuwasabha --in the eastern Tarai.
