Gorkha, Nov 20: Candidate for the House of Representatives (HoR) from Gorkha Constituency-2 and Chairperson of the Maoist Center, Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the flow of voters was low this morning.
Dahal came to his constituency after voting in Chitwan and after visiting some of the polling stations there, he responded to the journalists and said, "The number of voters may be low due to confidence of winning."

He said that in Gorkha, there is an alliance of major parties including Congress, Maoist and other parties and as if the result is already out, the voters seem to participate less because they think that there is not much competition. Dahal said, "People didn’t come to vote in the morning as it may be cold and foggy, the number of voters will increase in the afternoon," Dahal said.
He said that at the local level, every candidate and voter will be connected directly, so there may not be as much excitement as it was in the local elections. Stating that the current election is like a referendum, he said that one side is attacking the constitution again and again and the other side is for starting the journey of development and prosperity from here by protecting it and amending it.
He said that even if the government is formed under his leadership, the parties are unanimous that the alliance should continue for a long time. "There has been no concrete discussion about the leadership," he said.
